Afterlife (testing) (Chrome + Highend CPU req.) Description
Afterlife is a game released by LucasArts in 1996 that pits you as a semi-omnipotent being. Your job during the game is to create a functional Heaven and a functional Hell to reward or punish the citizens you are ruling over. In order to do so, you must keep tabs on your citizens' sins and good deeds. The graphical layout and gameplay broadly resembles SimCity 2000, except there are additional parallel ground levels representing Heaven and Hell.
Fate Structures are the buildings where the SOULs of a player's afterlife receive their reward or punishment for their actions in life. These are also the buildings which earn pennies, the game's currency. Fate Structures will evolve and devolve at will, though the primary cause of these changes are the varying levels of vibes each building emits, either positively or negatively affecting their neighbors as a result.
A key gimmick of the game lies in the descriptions of these fate structures, which are generally humorous and witty.
